This beautiful vintage terracotta pitcher, often referred to as a chicha jug, is a striking example of traditional Peruvian craftsmanship. Hand-painted and rich in character, the piece draws inspiration from Inca and Pre-Columbian pottery styles, reflecting a deep cultural heritage.

The jug features intricate geometric patterns, carefully applied to create a bold and decorative finish. A standout detail is the distinctive zoomorphic handle, shaped like a feline, often interpreted as a jaguar,  a symbol commonly associated with strength and power in ancient South American cultures.

Approximately 24cm high.
